Me and my bloke went to a lovely dinner at a fancy restaurant in my town. Cozy place, good service and excellent food. We dropped by at my parents' place on the way home where we tested different kinds of whiskey.|
It was all real fun and I was glad that he was acting over the moon with this modest celebration of him turning 30 this weekend.
Then we came home and he was very happy, laid down in the sofa and has been fast asleep since. It's been almost 3 hours.
I must admit, it's awfully domestic to be watching the Vancouver Olympics and browsing the internet with my man snoring in the sofa next to me. It makes me happy. I like this most-recent chapter in my life, first renting then buying an apartment, having his daughter over every other weekend and our planning to get a dog or how to spend next summer.
Chinese doing the halfpipe in snowboarding is kinda interesting. Do they do it out of interest or because their government wants snowboarding gold medalists? I imagine if they send some of their gymnastics "failures" to the mountains they'll reek havoc.
